Basic Loan
Basic Loan is an initial loan of Grameen Bank, which is the startup capital for new and fresh group members. The tenure of this loan starts from three months up to three years or more. This loan is repayable on weekly basis.

From the 3rd year onward, the loan limit is fixed for each member considering the following criteria:
- loan usage,
- capacity,
- type of business,
- loan repayment history,
- attendance at weekly center meetings.
